Recipe of Gujarati Pulavo|How to Make Vegetable Pulao

* 2 cups Basmati Rice
* 1/2 cup Peas
* 1 Carrot
* 1 Bay Leaf
* 1/2 inch Cinnamon Stik
* 2-3 cloves
* 1 tablespoon MDH Pulav Masala(or any other brand)
* 1/4th teaspoon cumin seeds
* 2 tablespoon cashew nuts
* 2 tablespoons Raisins
* 1 tablespoon ghee( clarified butter)
* 1 tablespoon oil
* 3-4 curry leaves
* 2 tablespoon coriander leaves
* salt Taste

1. peel and chop he carrot into cubes. take cashew nuts and slit them into half
2. boll the peas and carrots for 5 minutes. we want the veggies to be crunchy and firm but not        row. strain the veggies and keep aside<
3. wash the rice 3-4 times in water and soak it for 30 minutes
4. now boil the rice in a pot
5. once the rice is cooked and soft, strain the excess water and keep aside
6. heat ghee in a non stick pan
7. add all the dry spices and cook for a minute
8. now add cashew nuts and raisins. mix well and do not end up burning the cashew nuts just toss them quickly
9. add the boil peas and carrot
10. now add salt and pulav masala. i have used MDH pulav masala
11. mix all the ingredients well and cook for a minue
12. fluff up the rice well and coat it well with spices and ghee. do not over do the mixing otherwise the rice grains will break
14. Gujarati pulav is ready serve hot with Gujarati Kadhi
