INGREDINT           Methi paratha

Wheat flour                                               - 2 cups
Methi Leaves/Fenugreek leaves                -1 cup
Red Chilli powder                                      - 3/4 cups
turmeric powder                                       - A pinch ( optional )
Jeera/Cumin Seed                                    - 1 tsp
Salt                                                             - for test
Oil                                                              - 2 tsp


Wash Methi leaves and drain the water. chop the leaves roughly.

Mix wheat flour,  Methi leaves, red Chilli  powder, turmeric powder, jeera/cumin sheeds, salt and 2 tsp oil together to make soft dough. cover it with a lid and let it sit for one hour.

now make equal sized bolls out of it and roll the balls into round shaped chapati with a rolling pin. Heat tawa and put the rolled opt parathas on it and cook for a minute. when bubbles start appealing, apply it little oil and flip it over to the other side. let the other side also get cooked.

serve it Weath lemon pickle, Curd/raitha, chutney or any  side dish of  your choice. this ingredient composition usually serves 10 Parathas.
